Art Alliance Austin (established 1956) is accepting visual artists' applications for participation in its highly anticipated, annual art festival. Art City Austin will be held April 2-3, 2011 in the heart of downtown Austin and the 2ND Street Retail and Shopping District.

KEY DATES

Monday, November 1, 2010 (midnight CST): Deadline to apply.
Friday, November 19, 2010: Artists notified via email of selection and wait list.
Monday, January 31, 2011: Artist reply of acceptance and booth fee and booth request deadline
Tuesday, February 1, 2011: Last day to cancel and receive a 90% refund of the booth fee. After this date no refunds will be processed.
Tuesday, March 1, 2011: Artist location and information packets sent via email.
Friday, April 1, 2011: Artist Check-In begins at 7:00pm and set up begins AFTER 7:00pm.
April 2-3, 2011: 2011 Art City Austin Festival

BOOTH FEE

Accepted artists must submit the following booth fee:

$475 - Booth Space: 10 x 12: 10 x10 Tent with no outside pegs or ropes and lighting systems provided by artist.

$950 - Double Booth Space: A limited number of double booth spaces will be available. Double booth space assignments will be made based on earliest date of this application.

$100 - End Booth Supplement: End booth space assignments will be made based on earliest date of this application.

$25 - Electricity Supplement: Includes 500 watts of electricity. Electricity is not required, but can be purchased on an as needed basis.
